What inspires your work?
I’m driven by the desire to do better than the last time; I always want to move the bar a notch higher. This encourages me to think about how to build upon my previous experiences and to fully use the contributions of others. As a management consultant, this is probably why I think it is critical to identify and capture best practices. It also may explain the excitement I feel when I start working on a new project, particularly one with audacious challenges. |
What do you love doing in your spare time?
I love the experience of watching a movie in a theater with a packed audience. Film is incredibly powerful as a public medium and there is nothing like a good story to remind us of the universality of human emotions. But, I’m not a film snob! My tastes run the gamut from big-budget action films to hand-crafted indies.

Where would you like to go that you haven't been?
I’m incredibly fortunate to have had an international career that has enabled me to travel widely. Still at the top of my travel list is Jerusalem. It was one of the epicenters of modern civilization and today perseveres as a crossroads, and a flashpoint. I’d like to walk into antiquity and look for the signs that the future might be brighter. |
